Joseph A. Bondi

Joe has extensive experience in turnarounds, restructurings and interim management. Joe serves on the Board of Managers of Turnspire portfolio companies Infinity Engineered Products, MPI Products, Spectra Premium, and USG Water Solutions. In addition, Joe served on the Board of Managers of Turnspire portfolio company UPG until Turnspire’s exit.

 

Joe was a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal, a leading global professional services firm that delivers performance improvement, turnaround management and business advisory services to organizations seeking to transform operations, improve growth and accelerate results. During his more than 25 years with the firm, Joe served as CEO, CRO and Chairman of companies experiencing varying levels of distress and requiring strategic, financial and operational change. In addition, he served as co-head of the firm’s United States turnaround and restructuring practice.

 

Prior to Alvarez & Marsal, Joe was a Vice President at Timex Corporation, where he was responsible for restructuring international operations in Europe and Asia and was also Assistant General Counsel.

 

Joe began his career as a corporate attorney at a New York law firm.

 

In addition to UPG Company LLC, Joe has served on numerous other boards of directors during his career.

 

Joe received a BA in Economics from Cornell University and a JD from Harvard Law School.
